Young Stock

At Seeis Stud we follow some basic handling techniques, from the first week in which they were born.  The basic concept goes as follows:

*Foals get physical contact with humans within the first week of their lives:
*They learn to walk on the halter within the first month.

*Foals are brought to the farm house and stabled at weaning.

•

At 3 years, young horses are Lunged, and receive the basic training.  We also introduce the free jumping arena, and finally they are ridden in.

This easy process ensures mentally well balanced young horses, who has already built some trust in there human partners.
